Zane Smith looks for Speedy Cash Trifecta on Friday night

Recap of the Stage 1 Team All-Star event in Texas

MOORESVILLE, NC (May 18, 2022) – It’ll be the perfect night when Zane Smith and the #38 Front Row Motorsports Ford F-150 team pull off the Trifecta Speedy Cash. Smith will attempt to capture his series-leading fourth win of the season in the 220 in livery, finishing in the Speedy Cash Victory Lane at Texas Motor Speedway.

“This is going to be fun,” Smith said. “I know we tried to get the Speedy Cash colors at Victory Lane in Texas. Todd and the team had a great run, were close and hopefully we can make it Friday night. Our speedy cash truck is looking great and I think we’ll be quick. Hope everything fits together. We will work hard to achieve this.”

Smith enters the one-and-a-half mile Texas Motor Speedway third in the drivers’ standings and currently leads the NASCAR playoff bracket. The team is now hoping for more points in the drivers’ standings.

“We need to get more points to win the regular season,” Smith said. “Of course winning helps. But we want to keep accumulating stage points. Chris (Lawson) and the team did a great job for us. We want to continue.”

Smith and the No. 38 Ford F-150 will take to the track for Friday’s Speedy Cash 220 at Texas Motor Speedway, with the green flag dropping at 8:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
