Hyundai Accent modified with tractor tires

We have seen several videos and images of modifications for cars and two-wheelers from India and abroad. Although most of them are tastefully done, there are also many odd-looking modified vehicles. These modifications are not always the most practical. These are primarily meant to showcase the possibilities. Here we have one such video, where a YouTuber decided to modify his old Hyundai Accent sedan with big tires from a tractor. How was the whole modification process? Let’s check the video.

The video was uploaded by Crazy XYZ on their YouTube channel. As the name of the channel suggests, the YouTuber is known for doing such extreme experiments in his videos. The YouTuber begins by explaining what he has planned for the Hyundai Accent sedan. He and his friends start working on the modification. It looked like a simple paper experiment. All he had to do was take the wheels off the car and replace them with the massive wheels of a tractor. It was a more laborious and time-consuming process than they actually thought.

They first removed the wheels from two tractors. They first used a jack to lift the tractor, then put rock under the tractor to make sure it wouldn’t fall over when they removed the jack. It should be noted that these guys are not professional but do this for the sake of the experience. Once they removed the wheels from the tractor, they started working on removing the wheels from the car. Once they removed the wheels, they brought in a piece of welded metal rod with metal plates on both ends. This fabricated piece of metal actually acts as an extension for the axle of the car. The tractor wheels cannot be installed normally because they are larger.

Once they installed the axle extensions, they attached the bolts to complete the project. The metal extensions used on the car were actually welded in a local workshop. The overall look of the Accent sedan changed after the wheels were installed. It looks more like a monster car. The only problem with this modification was that it was completely unnecessary. The Hyundai Accent was equipped with a 1.5 liter gasoline engine which generated less than 94 hp and 125 Nm of torque. After installing the wheels, a lot of pressure was put on the engine of the car, unlike a tractor, which is equipped with a diesel engine and generates a large amount of torque at lower revs.

The vlogger stops the car after driving it a very short distance. He can be heard saying in the video that he feels there is a lot of pressure on the engine. He can even smell the clutch burning in the car. After letting the engine cool down a bit, he attempts to drive the car again and within a few meters the metal extension on the right front wheel simply clicks into place. The vlogger then re-welds the part with more strips of metal to add strength before trying to drive the car again.
