CFMoto presents Vision Concept SR with premium engineering and components, Ohlins suspension

Chinese motorcycle maker CFMoto showed off the Vision Concept SR on its social media pages. No official designation has yet been attached to this CFMoto sportsbike, but the nickname “SR”, as used on its current line of bikes in this class, does fit.

Created to gauge public interest, CFMoto claims that this concept bike was developed by its research and design arm in Europe. Apart from that, we are hinted that another European company was involved in the creation of the Vision Concept SR, Kiska, which also develops and designs motorcycles for KTM.

Besides the attractive styling lines, CFMoto also saw fit to outfit this concept bike with premium branded components such as Brembo brakes, SC Project exhaust, Pirelli Supercorsa tires and Ohlins suspension. More interesting is what looks like the forged carbon fiber fender mounted on the Vision Concept SR.

No other technical details are known yet, but looking at the graphics with a “400” on the side, we can assume that this concept will fall below the 500cc threshold. Looking at the close cooperation between CFMoto and KTM, this could be a new home for the KTM 390 engine, currently used in bare sports KTM 390 Duke and KTM RC390.

In the Malaysian market, the CFMoto 250SR is currently available, priced at RM15,800 when launched in July 2020. The CFMoto 250NK is also available in Malaysia (RM12,800 in 2019), while the CFMoto 800MT and CFMoto 700CL-X are expected to be launched locally in the near future.
